Grounds Maintenance is a diverse range of tasks that are undertaken on an ongoing basis for maintaining all external areas throughout the year. The key aspects of grounds maintenance will be to undertake; Lawn Mowing/Grass Cutting & Edging (to maintain a neat appearance), Hedge Trimming/Shrub Pruning/Tree Care (maintaining planting areas in a healthy condition), Weed Control/Fertiliser Application/Mulch Bedding of Flower Beds/Borders etc. and Hard Landscaping Maintenance (i.e. cleaning paths/car parks/paved areas etc.) i.e. Sweeping/Jet Washing/Line Marking etc. and Seasonal Works e.g. Leaf Clearing/Gritting/Snow Clearance etc. which generally take place in Autumn/Winter. In addition, litter collection and site clearing will form part of most routine site visits.
